Be Mindful - Mental Health Foundation Campaign for Mindfulness   Be mindful is a campaign being run by the Mental Health Foundation launched in early 2010. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the benefits of mindfulness for those experiencing mental health issues.

 

 

Breathworks   offers mindfulness-based approaches to living well with chronic pain, illness or stress of any kind. Breathworks also designs mindfulness-based courses and training for schools, health care professionals and businesses to promote and maintain well-being amongst pupils, families, patients, clients, staff and management.

Centre For Mindfulness Research And Practice   Bangor University's Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice is committed to the promotion of wellbeing through the application of mindfulness-based approaches. They teach the general public, train professionals and research the clinical applications of mindfulness.

Mindfulness Association  The Mindfulness Association is a company that has been set up at the request of Rob Nairn to deliver secular mindfulness training. Its aims are altruistic and are directed towards sharing the benefits of mindfulness with all those who are interested. The Association offers a training path that begins with the Mindfulness One Year Training, continues with the Compassion One Year Training and concludes with a training in Insight and Wisdom.  It is also concerned with the training and ongoing supervision of a bank of professional trainers to deliver these courses. 

 

Mindfulness Awareness Research Centre was created to bring to a renowned mental health research institution the ancient art of mindful awareness in a scientifically supported and rigorous form. Their mission is "to foster mindful awareness through education and research to promote well-being and a more compassionate society."

The Society for Clinical Mindfulness & Meditation  is a dynamic, inclusive organization committed to the advancement of theory, philosophy, practice, and research in mindfulness- and meditation-based approaches to mental health. The Society provides a forum for networking with others who hold similar interests, and membership in the Society helps members stay abreast of current research and best practices. Their membership directory also allows the public to connect with mental health professionals who utilize mindfulness and meditation in their practices.

The Still Centre seeks to offer the opportunity to re-discover within yourself: the resources you need to face the stresses of daily life, the strength to continue in the face of life's challenges and the quiet place of knowing - your own still centre.


University of Massachusetts Centre for Mindfulness The pioneers of MBSR: The Centre for Mindfulness Stress Reduction. Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn founded The Stress Reduction Program in 1979. His work and research has bought Mindfulness into mainstream medicine.
